WARNINGS

• Withdrawal period FOR MEAT: 21 DAYS.
• DO NOT USE CONTRARY TO “DIRECTIONS FOR USE”.
• Vaccinate healthy pigs only.
• Accidental self-injection may cause a severe local allergic reaction. If this occurs consult a physician.
• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
• Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a wide variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of various reasons.  If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

PRECAUTIONS

• Ensure proper dosage. Do not underdose.
• Do not use antimicrobial therapy 10 days before or after vaccination.
• Do not mix this vaccine with other vaccines or drugs.
• Observe aseptic precautions and ensure all vaccination equipment is clean and sterile prior to use. Do not use chemicals for sterilisation.
• Use entire contents once opened and do not store unused vaccine for future use.
• Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product. Avoid contact with eyes, hands and mouth while handling the vaccine.
• Wash hands after use.
• Discard empty and unused containers in compliance with regulations on waste management.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: USE ONLY AS DIRECTED

SHAKE BOTTLE WELL BEFORE AND DURING USE.

THE VACCINE MUST BE KEPT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE (15-25 °C) JUST BEFORE USE.

ADMINISTRATION

An injectable inactivated oil emulsion vaccine for intramuscular injection.

The recommended site is the side of the neck.

DOSAGE

Administer a single dose of 2 mℓ of vaccine from 21 days of age. However, in cases where enzootic pneumonia is present on farms as early infections, 1 mℓ dose can be administered from the first week of life, followed up with a booster dose of 1 mℓ 2-3 weeks later.

The onset of immunity is within 17 days after vaccination.

Duration of immunity is 6 months after vaccination.
