Anti-Protazoal

Imidox® - For the treatment and prevention of Asiatic and African Redwater and the treatment of Anaplasmosis

Anti-protazoal:

Imidox®   (Imidocarb Dipropionate 12 % m/v) For the treatment and prevention of Asiatic and African Redwater and the treatment of Anaplasmosis.

Benefits:

At the dose of 2,5 mℓ per 100kg body mass it treats and protects, for 4 and 8 weeks respectively, against new cases of Asiatic and African Redwater.  Ideally suited for extensive beef herds or at dry-off in pregnant dairy cattle before they are turned out onto pastures where there is a risk of tick infestation.

During a Redwater outbreak a dose of 1.0 mℓ per 100 kg bodymass, administered to cattle at risk which may be incubating the disease, will help prevent foetal loss in pregnant animals (due to the fever reaction) and further deaths.

DOES NOT sterilize the existing immunity against Redwater.
